Miles Victors
UESCA-Certified Ultrarunning Coach
Miles didn't start out as a runner. Not long ago, he was carrying a very high body weight and dealing with mobility so limited that basic movement was a struggle. What changed things wasn't a quick fix — it was showing up, day after day, and slowly rebuilding a relationship with movement from the ground up. That's the foundation of everything he brings to coaching today: he knows what it feels like to start from the hardest possible place, and exactly what it takes to keep going.

Racing
That same persistence carried him from his first steps back into movement all the way to the ultrarunning world — seven 100-plus-mile finishes and counting, across seven states and countries.
- Seven 100+ mile finishes
- Raced across Utah, California, Alaska, Mexico, Wyoming, Montana & Idaho
- Copper Canyon, Mexico — alongside the Rarámuri
- Mas Locos community member
- Regular at Born to Run Ultramarathons
- Daily running streak since February 2023
Menos es más
Miles runs minimalist — sandals over shoes, whenever the trail allows. Less is more isn't just a motto for him; it's the same philosophy that connects him to the Rarámuri he's run alongside in the Copper Canyons, and it's a big part of why Luna Sandals sponsors him.

2026
Utah Crossing
In 2026, Miles is taking on Utah Crossing — a 420-mile, crew-supported run the length of the state, raising funds and awareness for Still I Run, a mental health nonprofit close to his heart.
Community & credentials
Miles is a UESCA-certified ultrarunning coach and a sponsored athlete with Luna Sandals and UltrAspire. He founded the Utah chapter of Still I Run and runs a second trail running club, the Herriman Taco League. He hosts monthly group runs at Sugar House Park and Dimple Dell, and organizes events like the Buffalo Inferno on Antelope Island and the Herriman Easter Bunny Hop. For him, trail running isn't just training — it's a spiritual practice, and building community around it matters just as much as the miles themselves.
Off the trail
Miles is a husband and father of four. His wife Monica is a coach and trainer at StayFITT, and he eats a fully vegan diet — proof that plant-based fueling and ultra-distance performance go hand in hand.
Whether he's coaching a first-time 5K runner or someone chasing their first hundred-miler, Miles coaches from experience — he's been the person who couldn't walk across a room, and he's been the person who ran across a state. He believes anyone can make that same climb, one honest day at a time.
